Red Socks Day at the farm...

Morning Children...

Today we all turned up at Kindergarten wearing red to celebrate red socks day. We had planned to walk to the farm and thanks to the parents who came with us we were able to do this.

As part of caring for our environment we all put on gloves and made it our mission to pick up all of the rubbish we could see on the way to the farm and we collected quite a bit!

When we got to the farm all of the rangers were away so we helped them by feeding the animals grain. We found clumps of grass for Cameron and gave him lots of cuddles.

After we had visited all of the animals we headed back to our rest stop for drinks, snacks and some games on the grass. We used our new wooden spoons and eggs to have egg and spoon races on the grass. Balancing the eggs was pretty tricky but with practice we got the hang of it.

It was a beautiful day to be outside and enjoying the lovely clean environment we helped to look after.

Thanks everyone!
