Building a bug Hilton

We want to encourage bugs in our garden, especially the ones that contribute to the biodiversity in our area. We had seen a model for a 'Bug Hilton' and so we began to gather materials that would be useful to construct with. We stacked them up and put them in an area where we could begin the design process and then children started placing the materials in stacks working to make them aesthetically pleasing as they worked.

This turned out to be a design practice and when will move it once we have a decision about where it will be finally sited.
The first trial model finished.
