Everywhere we looked today when we were at the farm we could see puddles. We have made a philosophical decision that we will go to the farm rain or shine, and only cancel if there is lightning and thunder predicted. We really dont want to be walking back through the paddocks if there is an electrical storm.
So we went to the farm, had mattime in the barn
and then went off to milking to do our job. When there is no other groups of children visiting we do the jobs for the farmers. Today it was putting the milk in the bottles as the cows were milked.
Then it was time to put on the big farm ponchos for the walk back to kindergarten. It took quite a while today because we had to stop and jump in every puddles. It was great fun. The children rushed in to tell Ingrid - "we jumped in the puddles"
